All about the pane barrier

22 April 2010
A GLASS pane in a front door was shattered in Alnwick Road, Custom House, by an intruder.

The crook struck at about 8.30am on March 25.

After breaking the glass the intruder put his hand through and unlocked the door. However, it is not thought anything was taken during the incident.

Newham crime prevention officer Pc Brian Walker says it is a good idea to have toughened or laminated glass in front doors.
